CUSTOM ELEARNING DEVELOPMENT
I build custom eLearning for Australian government agencies. Compliance training people actually finish, leadership programs that stick, and everything in between. Before I built learning for Defence and law enforcement, I spent more than two decades working inside them.
THREE FORMATS, THREE JOBS
There’s no single right format. It depends on what you need the learning to do. Explaining an idea, showing a situation play out, and practising a decision are three very different jobs, and treating them all the same is why so much eLearning falls flat.
Here are three samples of my work, and a little on why I built each one the way I did.

The Good Work Series
Week one of The Good Work Series, built in Articulate Rise. A 10 week program that takes a psychosocial hazard, the things we know cause harm at work, like unmanageable demands, low say, unclear roles and always-on fatigue, and flips it into the good work that prevents it, backed by real evidence and one practical tool. Scenario animation
A team whose performance is slipping, and what changes when someone steps in. Animation lets you watch a situation unfold over time, so you see the problem for yourself before anyone names it. That’s what makes the turnaround land.

We jump on a call and work out what you’re actually after and who it’s for. We’ll talk through the options, from a simple module through to a fully gamified build. It’s free, there’s no obligation, and you’ll get value from it either way.

There’s no price list here. Custom eLearning development is exactly that, custom. The same topic could be a quick micro-learning or a fully gamified module, and they’re very different jobs. Your quote reflects what you’ve actually asked for, nothing more.
WHY WORK WITH ME
I have been the audience
Ten years in the Royal Australian Air Force. Thirteen with the Australian Federal Police as an intelligence and leadership trainer. I’ve sat through my fair share of mandatory training, so I know exactly what makes people click through with the sound off, and what makes them stop and pay attention.
Design and build in one person
Most eLearning is either designed by someone who can’t build it, or built by someone who doesn’t understand the content, and you end up managing the gap between the two. With me, the person who designs your learning is the same person who builds it.
Accessible from the start
Client builds are delivered to WCAG 2.1 AA: captions, transcripts, keyboard navigation and screen reader support. It’s mandatory for APS digital content, and plenty of vendors quietly miss it. With me it’s baked in from day one, not added when the audit comes back.
