WHO IS ROB HILLS?
Rob Hills is a dynamic Mindful Leadership author, speaker and coach who is passionate about making a difference in peoples lives. He is known for his No Bullsh*t style of Mindful Leadership, dispelling mindfulness myths and making it easier for people to connect to the topic in a fun and practical way.
Rob lives in Canberra, Australia where he is passionate about teaching people how to apply mindfulness to their leadership. Being a trainer with over 18 years experience, he has delivered leadership training to thousands of participants both in Australia and around the world. His past work experience includes 10 years in the Royal Australian Air Force and 10 years with the Australian Federal Police. Rob has worked in leadership development with clients from both the private and public sector.
Early in Rob’s career he served in the Air Force as a Communications Analyst in the field of Intelligence. He built up an excellent reputation for his leadership and management skills that saw him rapidly rise though the ranks. It was in the Air Force that Rob first became interested in meditation, and later mindfulness.
A closet tech geek (he also loves to develop websites!), introvert and proud father of two boys. Rob authored the book The No Bullsh*t Guide to Mindful Leadership, which shows people practical strategies to incorporate mindfulness into their lives. Through his programs and coaching he helps people to achieve their best results and learn more about themselves. He is a passionate life long learner and loves inspiring others to reach their full potential.
Rob Hills has also written and published a number of articles including “You don’t have to be a monk to be mindful” and “How mindful leadership can reduce stress in your workplace“. He approaches mindfulness from a pragmatic perspective, and believes in teaching people in a practical and fun way. Using these same skills, Rob coaches people to incorporate mindfulness into their own daily routines.
